Background Image: Site Visit and Assessment after the 2017 installation on the grounds of the Chinese Heritage Cultural Garden at Jamaica's Hope Botanical Gardens. It was in aid of the commemoration and celebration of the 40th anniversary of the relationship between Jamaica and China. Being only one of its kind in the Caribbean, it was recommended for historic Heritage Declaration and Protection in my tenure as Estate Director at the JNHT.

Oversaw the general care of Jamaica’s built heritage such as public institutions, properties, and monuments; privately owned and operated heritage sites; heritage districts; and JNHT’s own properties, declared monuments and sites of interest using heritage assessment reports.

Participated in the development of JNHT’s Corporate/Strategic and Operational Plans with projects supporting JNHT policies.

Continuously conducted and carried out consultations and collaboration on behalf of and with relevant JNHT Divisions and Departments; provided consultation with external Agencies in order to create preservation schemes and guidelines for conservation and re-generation of Heritage Monuments.

Chaired the Internal Technical Review Committee (ITRC), the regulatory body which receives submissions from Parish Councils or individual applicants wanting to make alterations to historic sites.

Heritage Board Member/ Representative - Received, revised, and made recommendations to the Heritage Development Review Committee (HDRC) on all island-wide heritage development applications and forwarded to the Board of Trustees for ratification, and to go to the Municipal Agencies/ Parish Councils for further statutory processing.
